The IT Hardware and Solutions (ITHS) framework agreement has been jointly established by the Crown Commercial Service and the Pro5 Group to enable all local authorities and wider public sector bodies to procure a range of IT products, services and solutions.
Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC)
Framework for Desktop Hardware and Peripherals April 2011 – April 2014
The Crescent Purchasing Consortium (CPC) is owned and run on behalf of the Further Education Sector and represents the interests of in excess of 700 Further Education Colleges, Academies and Schools throughout the UK.
Academia was successful in its bid to be a supplier to the following LOTS;
Lot 2 – Laptops/Netbooks/Tablets
Lot 5 – Maintenance / Support
Lot 6 – Apple
Northumberland County Council
We were successful in winning the Northumberland CC Framework Agreement in November 2013. This is a single supplier 4-year framework agreement to deliver a range of home technology, televisions, IT products and smartphones through a salary sacrifice scheme arrangement.
The Council have made the Framework Agreement available for use by all UK Contracting Authorities including, but not limited to, Government Departments and their Agencies, Non-Departmental Public Bodies, NHS Bodies, Local Authorities, Emergency Services, Educational Establishments and Registered Charities who have a need to purchase the mentioned services. Software Products and Associated Services. Framework Number: CBC Y10178 / ESPO Contract 936
Start Date 01 Apr 2012 End Date 31 Mar 2015 – Extension Option Up to 31 March 2016
The supply and delivery of a range of computer software packages and associated services for corporate and academic use. In addition to providing for Microsoft application licensing, the contract also offers anti-virus/security software, other commercial off-the-shelf and educational software.
This Framework Agreement has been established through a collaborative procurement exercise undertaken by the public sector buying consortia comprising the Pro5 Group.
Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium
Academia has been awarded places on three lots of the Southern Universities Purchasing Consortium (SUPC) Framework for the supply of Adobe, VMware and other software. The contract is available to use for all SUPC and the 5 other regional higher education purchasing consortia members (NEUPC, NWPC, APUC, LUPC, HEPCW).
Lot Details: – Adobe – ITS4001-SU, Other Software ITS4001-SU, VMware ITS4001-SU
Dates – 1st of January 2013 – 31st December 2015 with an option to extend up to the 31st December 2016
National Desktop and Notebook Agreement (NDNA)
Academia is partnering with Toshiba on the latest NDNA agreement. The NDNA is open to all Consortia-affiliated Universities and Colleges of Higher and Further Education (including staff and students), together with the Research Council, in all six of the regional consortia NEUPC, NWPC, APUC, LUPC, HEPCW, SUPC
